Chain of Custody

Sealed at the pharmacy. Signed for at the door.

Every handoff in between is scanned, timestamped, and logged.

  1. Step 1 · RELEASED 09:14

    Released

Your licensed pharmacy dispenses, labels, and seals each patient-specific package, then releases the shipment to NanoHome. One address, one manifest — instead of running your own direct-to-patient operation.

  2. Step 2 · SEAL VERIFIED 09:41

    Received & logged

Every package is scanned in at our San Francisco facility: package ID checked against the manifest, seal verified, custody timestamped, and stored under the conditions the medication requires. Sealed packages are never opened.

  3. Step 3 · 4.2°C · IN RANGE

    Packed & dispatched

Cold-chain packout in insulated shippers — the pharmacy's sealed package goes inside untouched. Local courier across the San Francisco Bay Area; overnight air everywhere else in California. The patient gets a tracking link and delivery notifications along the way.

  4. Step 4 · SIGNED 16:05

    Delivered

Scheduled home delivery with recipient confirmation and signature as the proof of delivery. The custody record closes the way it opened: verified.

When a delivery fails

Exception

If no one can sign, we coordinate a re-attempt with the patient. If the package can't be delivered, it returns to the pharmacy sealed, under required storage conditions. Every incident and temperature excursion is reported to the pharmacy. Logged, not lost.
